Chicago, IL (November 21, 2003)--Metro Mobile Location Recording's M-48 audio truck was recently on site at The Vic Theatre in Chicago, recording Tom Petty And The Heartbreakers' five sold out shows. Chicago's WXRT radio listeners were treated to a live broadcast of the opening songs from each of the first four night's shows, and on the last evening's performance received the Heartbreakers' concert in its entirety.

The shows were recorded to high definition audio via Tascam's DA-78 format. A selection from those recordings, "Learning To Fly" is being released on WXRT's "Live From The Archives, Volume 6" on November 25th, 2003. The dates were produced by Tom Petty's "The Last DJ" producer George Drakoulias , engineered by Mike Konopka and Timothy R. Powell, and assisted by Michael Ways with Mike Czaszwicz. Net proceeds from the sale of WXRT Volume 6 will benefit People's Music School and the Greater Chicago Food Depository.
