Las Vegas, NV (November 17, 2003)--With sales soaring and company momentum at an all-time high, Transamerica Audio Group has added Todd Peterson to the new position of marketing manager and completed a move to new, expanded headquarters space in Las Vegas. Both actions are designed to solidify the company's position as a top source for high-end analog and digital equipment for recording and live applications.

In his new role, Peterson will work to enhance Transamerica Audio Group's overall sales and marketing efforts by facilitating the flow of product and added value information between manufacturers and dealers, managing Transamerica's national press efforts, managing the company's website and coordinating product demonstrations and reviews. He'll also be handling digital tech support for dealers and high-level end-users.

"We are excited to welcome Todd to the Transamerica team," says Brad Lunde, company founder and president. "I've known Todd for a long time and am confident that his broad range of experience in professional audio and technical applications, coupled with his marketing and sales experience and high energy level, will enhance our dealer support and overall end-user experience."

Peterson comes to Transamerica Audio Group after 10 years in purchasing, sales management, marketing and operations for Leo's Pro Audio, a large California-based pro audio retailer. He began his career more than 13 year ago at Guitar Center in Berkeley, CA.

"After working with Brad and his team for years, I am grateful to be joining the group," Peterson says. "It's definitely an organization more interested in establishing long-term customer relations backed by superior service than in making a quick buck. One of my first priorities will be helping get Brad out into the field for sales and customer support. I will also focus on a higher level of customer service via a more robust and informative website, and by developing new ways for end-users to find the right information and solutions for their unique applications."

The move, which significantly expands Transamerica's office and warehouse space, was brought about by strong performance across the company's product lines and the need to position the company for future growth. Notes Lunde, "This move will allow Transamerica to focus even more attention and energy on what matters most. Our main effort over the next few years is to deliver state-of-the-art product information and support to both dealers and end-users, and Todd's broad range of experience enables him to champion that effort. The pro audio world is behaving more and more like a price, packaging and broad distribution consumer market, where channels of distribution that enable step-up products to be sold consistently are difficult to find. Our job is to build, tend and develop that step-up channel."

Peterson will be based at the company's new offices that house all sales, marketing and administrative functions. The new address for Transamerica Audio Group is: 7320 Smoke Ranch Road, Suite G, Las Vegas, NV 89128. The main telephone and fax numbers remain the same-Tel: 702-365-5155; Fax 702-365-5145.
