Turtle Creek, PA (January 5, 2006)--Treelady Studios' 6,000-square-foot facility located just outside Pittsburgh, PA incorporates rooms for tracking, mixing, mastering, audio restoration, and video production. Engineer Garrett Haines recently mastered the Starlight Mints' debut Barsuk album, produced by Trent Bell, Allan Vest, and Andy Nunez, and due out in April.

Turtle Creek, PA (January 5, 2006)--Treelady Studios' 6,000-square-foot facility located just outside Pittsburgh, PA incorporates rooms for tracking, mixing, mastering, audio restoration, and video production. Engineer Garrett Haines recently mastered the Starlight Mints' debut Barsuk album, produced by Trent Bell, Allan Vest, and Andy Nunez, and due out in April.

Treelady offers a variety of recording formats including Digidesign Pro Tools HD3, MOTU Digital Performer 4.5x, and Sony JCI 24-track 2" machine. The mastering room is equipped with processing tools from Manley, API, Tube-Tech, Crane Song, Summit Audio and Requisite Audio, with monitoring by a pair of Dunlavy SC-V towers, dual Dunlavy sub towers driven by a power tower featuring Mark Levinson, Bryston and Richard Grey's Power Company.

Starlight Mints is one of four recently signed artists to Barsuk Records with albums upcoming in the next few months. First up this month, comes an album from Rocky Votolato. Barsuk will release a new Mates of State album March 21, then the Starlight Mints album, and later in the year, the new record from another recent signing, Viva Voce.
