Englewood, NJ (September 19, 2005)–Dae Bennett has been mixing both stereo and 5.1 versions of Trey Anastasio’s upcoming Live At Red Rocks Dual Disc in Bennett Studios’ South Room, on the SSL 4080 G+ console. And, Matchbox Twenty singer Rob Thomas was at Bennett recently, producing a track for the new Rusty Truck album, featuring photographer Mark Seliger.
Trumpeter Jon Faddis has been mixing his new Koch release in Bennett’s South Room as well, with engineer Brian Dozoretz. Tracks for the album were recorded in Bennett’s North Room, and guests included Clark Terry and Russell Malone. Meanwhile, Victor Bailey (Weather Report) laid down tracks in the Neve VR60-equipped North Room, with Lenny White on drums, and Dozoretz at the controls.
And, Grammy-winning trombonist/bandleader/composer Jimmy Bosch is producing the rock band Momposonica for his new label, recording tracks in the North Room with engineer Dave Kowalski.
