Kiev, Ukraine (June 13, 2007) — ComTel, Ukrainian supplier of broadcast and communications system solutions, modernized the internal intercom system and communication network of the country’s largest concert hall, the Ukraine Palace of Arts, in Kiev. ComTel selected a Riedel Performer 32-80 digital matrix intercom system as the basis of the communication network.
The Ukraine Palace of Arts, in Kiev. At the first stage of the project, the system features a 24×24 matrix, integrating four independent digital party lines, eight intercom control panels as well as eight analog audio ports. ComTel selected a mix of desktop and rack-mount versions of Riedel’s Artist 2000 series LCD control panels. The party line intercom is based on Riedel’s Performer digital party line series.
The connection of the digital party line intercom to the matrix is made via a Performer C44 system interface, which supplies the belt pack lines with voltage and allows for the integration of the party line system with the matrix environment.
