Las Vegas (February 6, 2004)--Ultimate Ears Inc. recently greeted the John Lennon Educational Tour Bus at Western High School to make a contribution. In a brief donation presentation, Mindy Harvey, president of Ultimate Ears, donated Ultimate Ears personal monitors to the road crew of the Lennon bus.

The UE-10Pro's are advanced speaker systems custom built to fit comfortably in one's ears. Once fitted with these personal monitors, a sound engineer transmits a custom music mix directly to each musician and/or sound technician.

"The earpieces eliminate nearly all ambient sound, allowing the engineer to hear clearly when laying down tracks. With all the noise of the bus and the limited time frame they work in, it's important they have the best quality monitors available," Harvey said.

The Lennon bus kicked off this year's tour January 9 in Santa Barbara, CA. Since 1998, the bus has provided free hands-on programs to hundreds of high schools, colleges, Boys and Girls Clubs, music festivals, concerts, conventions and community organizations. It pulled into Western High-School at 7:00 Wednesday morning to engineer a professional-quality recording session and produce a music video for a music group from the school. The bus is outfitted with the latest state of the art recording equipment available, and Ultimate Ears' contribution allows the bus to continue to boast that claim.
