New York, NY (January 10, 2007)–Clients of the Napoleon Group’s Ultra-Sound studio in Manhattan can now enjoy faster service by booking the audio post production facility’s newest room. The new system is designed to mirror the capabilities in the main Pro Tools room, allowing projects to be shared between the two studios.
The new second room is equipped with a fully loaded Digidesign Pro Tools|HD3 system sweetened with the Waves plug-ins Diamond Bundle, a Neumann U87 microphone paired with an Avalon VT-737SP mic pre-amp/compressor, a cozy vocal booth for isolation and the Avid Mojo for picture playback. The system, running on a powerful Apple G5, is under the control of a Digidesign Command 8 console.
Senior audio engineer Ron DiCesare said, “The idea is very simple. Whatever we do in the main room, we want to do in the secondary room. The only exception is doing an ISDN recording. Other than that, it’s all the same. Finally, we are able to accommodate more than one session at a time. I am sure clients will take full advantage of this much-needed schedule option.”
Ultra-Sound’s Jennifer Arrowood will be at the controls in the new room. Working under the careful direction of DiCesare for the past three years, she has not only proven her grit but she also brought her own unique sound and creativity to the table, he said.
