Franklin, TN (August 29, 2006)--Ultrasone headphones have made several television appearances recently including the broadcast of ESPN's The Final Four, a regular spot on the broadcast on ESPN's Monday Night Football, and the MTV reality show P. Diddy's: Making the Band. Ultrasone of America, LLC, the U.S. distributor for German headphone manufacturer Ultrasone AG, made the announcement.

Ultrasone's HSD-700 headsets will be used in ESPN's broadcast of Monday Night Football. Reportedly, Ron Scalise, ESPN remote operations project manager, bought these headsets specifically for Monday Night Football because of not only the high level of performance they offer but also the new sleeker look that is brought to the talent's appearance on camera. Ultrasone headphones have also been used in the broadcast of marquee events such as The Super Bowl, The Final Four and the Grammy Awards show.

"It is gratifying to know that the top TV producers in the world, who can choose any headset they want, are choosing Ultrasones' for their most critical listening assignments," said Cathy Kelly, president of Ultrasone of America, LLC. "They have told me the dramatically reduced fatigue factor, and the surround sound experience keeps the talent fresh and interested...allowing for a much better presentation and a much better show."

Ultrasone headphones were also recently featured on MTV's reality show, P. Diddy's: Making the Band. The episode was filmed at Miami's legendary recording studio, The Hit Factory Criteria, with top producers Brian Cox, Rodney Jerkins, and Timbaland.

"This one was a nice surprise, but the headphones are absolutely the best, so it shouldn't be," said Cathy Kelly, president of Ultrasone of America, LLC. "We've worked really hard to get the Ultrasone story out there, and so it is great when you see huge performers using them. We will continue to see Ultrasone more and more being used by the tops in the industry. Having Ultrasone's showcased on MTV gets the message out to an enormous audience that our headphones are the number one choice of music industry professionals."
