New Orleans (April 6, 2004)--Ultrasonic Studios recently released Alan Lomax's Southern Journey Remixed, produced by Ultrasonic's Steve Reynolds and Rounder Record's VP Scott Billington. The duo, along with some ace musicians like Corey Harris, Delfeayo Marsalis, George Porter, Henry Butler and Davel Crawford, has done a superb job making new music for the voices of prisoners and fisherman from the original recordings that Lomax recorded more than 50 years ago.

New Orleans (April 6, 2004)--Ultrasonic Studios recently released Alan Lomax's Southern Journey Remixed, produced by Ultrasonic's Steve Reynolds and Rounder Record's VP Scott Billington. The duo, along with some ace musicians like Corey Harris, Delfeayo Marsalis, George Porter, Henry Butler and Davel Crawford, has done a superb job making new music for the voices of prisoners and fisherman from the original recordings that Lomax recorded more than 50 years ago.

Ultrasonic has also recorded a new album, Almost Blue for Ingrid Lucia, produced by Tracey Freeman and engineered by David Farrell. Also in the studio was gospel vocal group, Blessed. LeDerick Blackburn and Blessed produced the new album, with Reynolds engineering. And, Amanda Shaw put the finishing touches on her new CD, produced by Amanda, Charles and Rene Shaw, and mixed by Reynolds. Also tracking a new CD for Barn Burner Music is the Soul Rebels with Bill Summers producing and Reynolds engineering.
