Miami, FL (February 29, 2008)–Following the recent appointment of Alan Olem, vice president / director of sales and marketing, at Vapor Post in Miami, the facility is being restructured and partially remodeled. The post shop now includes edit and finishing, design and visual effects, sound and multi-media services under one roof.
“We’re setting this company up as a true boutique facility,” states Olem, who enumerates the equipment and services now available to clients at Vapor Post, which is located on the edge of Miami’s Design District, north of the city’s downtown area. “We’ve added Autodesk Smoke HD and SD to the roster and we have added Apple’s Final Cut Studio 2. We have Avid Adrenaline with the HD option, Digidesign Pro Tools audio, Autodesk Flame, Softimage|3D animation, Adobe After Effects, and a host of multimedia services, including DVD authoring. We’ve restructured the facility a bit, in adding Smoke, and we have completely remodeled and upgraded our Avid.”
Olem, one of the most experienced sales and marketing directors working in the southeast region, joined in December 2007. “We’ve created a very relaxed, very creative environment that is catering to our clients, not just from a talent and equipment standpoint but also service. In embarking on this venture, I have been very cognizant of taking all of the things that I have seen over the years, all of the things that clients require and all the things that have worked, and helped to put them into this process–which is why I think the experience at Vapor Post is going to be unique for our clients.”
Additionally, industry veteran John Holzman has joined as Smoke editor/post production supervisor and Vapor Post has also added Venezuelan-born Avid editor Charlie Cartaya.
