Los Angeles, CA (April 15, 2010)–Vintage King Audio and Solid State Logic will host an free evening panel discussion on composing music for film and TV, on Thursday, April 22nd at the Downtown Independent Theater in Los Angeles.
Co-hosted by media sponsors Pro Sound News and Pro Audio Review, the evening will cover the various pro audio tools available for composers today, the latest techniques in recording and more. Join producer Jim Lang, composer Julia Newmann (Charlie Wilson’s War, I Am Legend, Bones), music supervisor Charles Scott IV (Cloverfield, Pirates of the Caribbean: At World’s End), composer Paul Dinletir (Chronicles of Narnia, Spiderman 3) and film, tv and video game composer Lennie Moore as they share unique, hands-on insight about the current climate of the industry.
The event will take place from 6-9 pm and is open to the public. Registration is free but required, as space is limited. Those who register online will automatically be entered to win a Solid State Logic Duende Mini v3 compact digital sound processor.
This is the second in a series of events Vintage King Audio plans to host throughout 2010 in Los Angeles, in order to directly connect its growing roster of boutique and classic gear with the city’s thriving entertainment industry professionals.
