Virella Launches New Sales and Marketing Company

San Francisco, CA (September 7, 2005)--Industry veteran D. Dino Virella has revealed plans to start his own company called VirellaPro Sales & Marketing. The company will be a hybrid combining a rep firm plus consultancy for small- to medium-sized manufacturers in the audio and video industries.

In addition to sales activities, VirellaPro Sales & Marketing will specialize in marketing support including product rollouts, reseller channel development, reseller training programs, artist relations' management, public relations assistance, and image consulting.

Virella has been in the pro audio and music industries for close to 30 years. Starting at a small music store while in high school in his hometown of Chicago, he quickly ascended to key management roles with elite manufacturers. Some of his experience has included positions with International Music Corporation (Akai Professional, Charvel, and StudioMaster), E-mu Systems, Sam Ash Professional, Digidesign, Universal Audio and Focusrite. His career of nearly 30 years has enabled him to gain valuable experience in USA, Canada, Latin America, Europe and other international markets.

Virella stated, "VirellaPro Sales & Marketing will break the mold of the traditional rep firm. We will depend on a technology-based backbone to keep the company lean and very mobile. There are several small- and medium-sized companies that need qualified, professional experience, and I trust my excellent track record and reputation in the industry will be of great value to them."

In another announcement, effective October 1, 2005, educational DVD developer Secrets of the Pros has selected VirellaPro Sales & Marketing (VPS&M) as its exclusive worldwide sales agent for its growing series of professional audio instructional titles.

Company founder Ken Walden commented, "When I heard that Dino was starting his own sales and marketing firm, I was the first one at the door! I have known Dino for close to ten years, and his experience and reputation in both domestic and international markets will help my company grow to the next level."
