Goines, Wycliffe Gordon and Wynton Marsalis (presenting, not performing), pianist Emanuel Ax, violinist Itzhak Perlman, pre-college pianist Peng Peng, and current Juilliard ensembles led by composer/conductor John Williams and Andrea Quinn.
Manning the Studer digital audio console in the Celebrity unit was respected broadcast engineer Ed Greene, who, although using the Vista 8 for his very first time, found it to be to his liking.
“From my first experience, the Studer Vista 8 appears to meet my preferences for a live broadcast console, which are absolute on-air stability, friendly ergonomics and, of course, good sound,” Greene noted, after having an opportunity to review the live telecast. “In fact, I have already now suggested the desk to several people looking to replace older analog consoles and look forward to further opportunities using the Vista 8.”
