Palo Alto, CA (November 25, 2003)--WCPO-TV9 in Cincinnati, an ABC-affiliate station owned by the E.W. Scripps, has purchased its second Euphonix System 5-B digital broadcast console in less than two years. Director of sales Eastern region Peter Kehoe states that the award-winning station again chose Euphonix due to dependability and ease of use.

After a very thorough evaluation of the broadcast consoles on the market, it was clear which audio manufacturer WCPO-TV would go to for their second audio console. Joe Martinelli, director of engineering, explained, "We have always been very impressed with the 32 fader System 5-B that we purchased nearly two years-ago. After doing a comprehensive review of the consoles that were on the market, the System 5-B stayed at the top of our list." He continued, "We've really appreciated how dependable our first System 5-B has been and the customer support that we've received with it. In addition, the console is very easy to use. Switching operators is not a challenge."

The newly purchased, 24 fader System 5-B will be used in the television production studio B for broadcasting popular programs such as Sports of All Sorts, Around The House and Hot Seat.

Kehoe concluded, "Euphonix has secured many multiple orders for consoles this year, but orders from stations like WCPO really shine a light on how pleased our clients are with our consoles. Client satisfaction is what keeps our customers coming back for more."
