Roma, Italy (December 1, 2005)–The A&G system, incorporating “See’n’Sound” and “X-spat boX,” is the latest hit in Italian cinema, Roma. On November 8, Luigi Agostini, Simone Cercignani (A&G) and Umberto Zanghieri (ZP Engineering) met the students and professors of “Tor Vergata” Rome University at the Audio Day of “Interfacce” fifth edition. As panelists at the forum, they detailed the process through which to create a product for the professional audio market and the new way to produce 3D Psychoacoustic Surround in Digidesign Pro Tools using A&G’s See’n’Sound.
The other panelists were Filippo Bussi for DTS, the journalist and musician Enrico Cosimi, Stefano Daino of I3, the creator of DSP Quattro, Mario Maggi, the creator of Elka Synthex, and the University’s professor Paolo Panfilo.
On November 30, Maurizio Duka Moroni presented “3D Psycho Acoustic Surround,” a seminar of A&G Soluzioni Digitali and Digidesign Italia for the Fondazione Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia di Roma (www.csc-cinematografia.it), the oldest film school in Western Europe. It was founded in the city of Rome in 1935, financed by the Italian Government, and focuses on research, publication and theory.
