Seattle, WA (May 12, 2006)–Kagi Media, producers of Mix It Like A Record, an interactive mixing course authored by Grammy-winning engineer, mixer and producer Charles Dye, together with McDSP, are sponsoring a contest in which three winners will receive a copy of the Mix It Like A Record course DVD and McDSP’s Analog Channel plug-in.
Go to www.harddisklife.com and click on “Contest” to watch the streaming Two Part Web Movie “Saturation and the Digital Mix Buss.” Answer a couple simple questions and submit to win a Mix It Like A Record DVD from Kagi Media and the Analog Channel Plug-In from McDSP.
The contest runs from May 12 until June 26 and in addition to the three Grand Prize Winners, all entries are also eligible to receive 20 percent off the purchase of Mix It Like A Record.
McDSP’s Analog Channel includes two separate plug-ins and reproduces the sounds of high-end analog tape machines, analog tape, and analog channel amplifiers. Analog Channel gives the user complete control of analog gain staging (AC1), and analog tape and tape machines (AC2). Analog Channel’s AC1 is a “class A” gain stage, and the Analog Channel Emulator AC2 plug-In is an emulator of the most popular analog tape machines (and tape mediums).
