Buena Park, CA (November 15, 2005)–Yamaha has released its SP2060 speaker processor. Designed to function as a distributed system processor or as a standalone device, the SP2060 has been engineered to offer complete 24-bit/96 kHz processing and DSP power for the Yamaha Installation Series loudspeakers.
Built into a space-saving 1RU chassis, the SP2060 provides a number of DSP functions (PEQ, All Pass Filter, Delay and Limiter), and also includes a dedicated library for each Installation Series model–all accessible from the familiar SPX-type “cross-keys” navigation buttons on the front panel.
