Nashville, TN (February 6, 2006)–Rob Manning NSM of Zaolla cables and Ted Rackley of MUSE Research will be discussing their latest products at SIR (Studio Instrument Rentals) room # 2 in Nashville this Thursday, February 9. Professional Audio Solutions is sponsoring the clinic with Zaolla and Muse, and invites its Nashville clients to both sessions, one at 12 noon and the other at 6:00 PM. RSVP’s are encouraged at: www.proaudiosolutions.com/level.itml/icOid/12311.
Some of the local “A” call players who are slated to offer their experiences at the clinics are bassists Larry Paxton, Spady Brannan, engineers Brian Foraker and others. Rick Derringer, George Lynch, and Phil Upchurch lately have sought out Zaolla to wire their rigs. And, recordist/producers Terry Howard, Joe McGrath, John Fishbach, Pete Anderson and Ray Kennedy all used Zaolla analog and digital cable for recent projects.
Rackley, national product specialist for Muse Research, will demonstrate the new “Uniwire” technology, which turns Receptor into “the ultimate DSP accelerator.” Muse allows the many plug-in applications used in computer recorders to be rack-mounted reducing latency because the software is managed by the MUSE instead of the native CPU. MUSE allows portability for software synth and effects and is in-use with touring players such as guitarist Jerry McPherson.
The sessions will be two hours long, and food and beverages will be provided.
Studio Instrument Rentals is located at 1101 Cherry Avenue in Nashville, approximately five blocks north of Professional Audio Solutions.
