Pompton Plains, NJ (August 4, 2008)–The National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences will present Zaxcom with a 2008 Primetime Emmy Engineering Award in recognition for the Deva on-location audio recorder/mixer.
The award will be presented to Zaxcom president Glenn Sanders and chief engineer Howard Stark at the Engineering Awards ceremony on August 23 at the Renaissance Hotel in Los Angeles.

According to the National Academy for Television Arts and Sciences, the Primetime Emmy Engineering Awards recognize developments in engineering that are either so extensive an improvement on existing methods or so innovative in nature that they materially affect the transmission, recording, or reception of television.
