2020 Production Grammy Nominations Announced

2020 Grammy Nominations have been announced, including the production, engineering, mixing, remixing and mastering categories.

Los Angeles, CA (November 20, 2019)—The 2020 production GRAMMY nominations have been announced, kicking off the run up to the 62nd GRAMMY Awards in February. Production personnel are up for honors in the production, engineering, mixing, remixing and mastering categories.

First-time nominees lead the pack this year, with Lizzo receiving eight nods, including album, record and song of the year, and best new artist. Billie Eilish and Lil Nas X each received six nominations. At 17, Eilish’s nods for album, record and song of the year and for best new artist make her the youngest nominee ever in the top four categories.

2019 Production Grammy Award Winners Announced

The 62nd Grammy Awards will take place on January 26, 2020, at the Staples Center in downtown Los Angeles. The broadcast will air live on CBS from 8:00–11:30 p.m. ET/5:00–8:30 p.m. PT. Alicia Keys will return as host the ceremony for the second year in a row.
