What is your new position, and what does it entail?
In my role as North American sales manager for LEA Professional, my main duties involve working with our U.S. representatives to sell LEA Connect Series amplifiers to integrators. I also work alongside our Canadian distribution partner to grow the LEA Professional brand throughout all of North America. On top of this, I also manage sales forecasts, perform product training for the sales force and act on all other customer-facing items that might surface.

How has your background prepared you for your new role?
During my undergraduate career, I took a side gig with NBC Sports on the weekends, working live broadcast for Notre Dame home football games, which gave me experience in and an appreciation for a whole different side of the industry.
After graduating, I accepted a role at Harman Professional, eventually advancing into a regional sales manager role in the Northeast and Midwest regions serving the integration market. All of these roles have helped shape and prepare me for my current role here at LEA Professional. The integration market is quickly evolving, and we believe that giving an integrator a new tool for their toolbox—instead of another sales pitch—is the key to being successful.

What new marketing initiatives are we likely to see from the company?
At LEA, we strive to ensure that for our partners and end users alike, every touchpoint with LEA is simple, seamless and creates a positive experience. Our social media channels, and in particular our YouTube channel, showcase our brand identity in this way.
We have an extremely talented marketing team that posts the product videos that buyers want to see, with tips and tricks about our products, as well as exciting new updates. It is important that our community is presented with valuable content. In the future, I think you will see an increased focus on our YouTube, Facebook and LinkedIn channels.
What are your short- and long-term goals?
Our short-term goals are simple: increase awareness and understanding. This year we will continue to build out the LEA dealer network in the United States and grow the LEA name with our Canadian distribution partner.
Long-term goals involve making sure we are providing world-class support to all integrators. To do this, we also expect to grow our internal team as rapidly as external growth demands. As always, we will continue to expand our technology to ensure that we remain at the forefront of professional audio innovation.

What is the greatest challenge you face?
I think the greatest challenge I face is managing our growth from a startup company to an established industry player, and making that transition smooth and risk-free for our integrators. Fortunately, our Connect Series high-performance IoT-enabled amplifiers are truly an exceptional product in fit, form, quality and feature set—and the products deliver a great experience, essentially selling themselves.
