Lacuna Coil recently played France’s Sonisphere festival through an Adamson Energia e15 system.
France (August 17, 2012)—Energia Beta partners MPM and Waveform Audio employed an Adamson Energia e15 system during the two-day rock and metal concert, Sonisphere Amneville, in France, featuring artists Faith No More, Marilyn Manson, Wolfmother and Machine Head.
“I'm really interested in the E15 now; I love the Y18s with the T-21 Subs, but the E15 with the T21s is the best Adamson rig I've heard,” commented Machine Head FOH engineer, Craig “Bozz” Porter.
The main Apollo stage was setup inside an arena, with a B stage setup outside, surrounded by amenities and camping.
The Apollo stage was covered by a dozen E15s per side with two Metrix 15-degree enclosures as down fill and 20 Y10 enclosures for each outfill array. The stage utilized a stereo center fill, with two arrays of six 5-degree SpekTrix enclosures. On the ground, nine T-21 subs were stacked per side in columns of three, with an additional two T21s placed in the center. Between the center subs and side subs, four risers were erected with a single SpekTrix sub and two SpekTrix 5-degree enclosures stacked for fill. Additional Metrix cabinets were also placed on the main T21 columns for fill.
On the stage, a pair of M15s with two stacked Metrix subs were used for line check, and another two-dozen M15s were used for stage monitoring, as well as two double-18” SpekTrix subwoofers for drumfill. Sidefills on stage consisted of four flown Y10s with two ground stacked T21subs per side.
Chief audio designer Julien Poirot’s design was executed with Adamson’s new software suite, Blueprint AV.
