Anaheim, CA (January 3, 2019)—The Audio Engineering Society returns to the NAMM Show later this month with AES@NAMM Pro Sound Symposium: Live & Studio 2019, presenting four days of audio education and insights, January 24 – 27, at the NAMM U Education Center on the 4th floor of the Anaheim Hilton.
Once again, AES@NAMM will host training academies and related technical sessions provided by a team of topical specialists and experts, from live sound professionals like Robert Scovill, Dave Rat, Dave Shadoan and Ike Zimbel, to studio production professionals such as Andrew Scheps, Sylvia Massy, Gavin Lurssen, Reuben Cohen and Ron McMaster.
The organizers for the AES@NAMM program are Mark Frink, Program Director & Manager, Live Sound content; Charlie Hughes, Manager, Scientific & Technical content; and Bobby Owsinski, Manager, Studio Recording content.
New for AES@NAMM 2019 are the Microphone Academy: Studio & Live on Friday and Saturday, January 25 and 26, and the Digital Audio Networking Academy, taking place all four days.
Returning offerings include the Line Array Loudspeaker System Academy, Live Mixing Console Academy, Entertainment Wireless Academy, In-Ear Monitoring Academy, Control Room Academy, Main Stage: Studio, and Main Stage: Live, as well as a series of Sound System Measurement & Optimization sessions.
