New York, NY (June 16, 2020)—When the global pandemic scuttled the Audio Engineering Society’s spring convention, which was set to be held in Vienna, Austria, the organization did what any audio pro does when faced with a massive obstacle: It said ‘the show must go on’ and then found a way to make that happen, creating its first-ever online Convention, AES Virtual Vienna. For those who missed it, the Convention will remain online through June 30, 2020, for those currently registered, and registration will remain open through that time for anyone wishing enjoy the AES Virtual Vienna Convention on their own time, online at AESEurope.com.

In addition to more than 100 on-demand Papers Sessions, Engineering Briefs, Posters, Technical Tours, Workshops, Tutorials and more, the Convention featured the most popular events of all AES conventions, including Keynote speeches, a Heyser Presentation, the Opening Ceremony and Awards presentations.
