Farmingdale, NY (April 14, 2015)—beyerdynamic Inc. has taken the reigns as its own direct source for Pro Audio products in the U.S.
While the Heilbronn, Germany-based company’s conference and consumer products have been distributed in the United States from its U.S. headquarters in Farmingdale, NY, beyerdynamic’s pro audio products—wired and wireless microphones, headphones, headsets and broadcast related products—were distributed by American Music & Sound.
“It was a strategic decision,” said Alan Feckanin, Americas Business Operations Manager for beyerdynamic Inc. “Following solid growth with the other business units, bringing Pro Audio back home to complete the circle was the best decision for the company. We will expand in the U.S., continue to develop the brand and focus on direct-to-dealer relationships with Pro Audio as we do with Consumer Products.”
Dave Hetrick has been named as the Pro Audio National Sales Manager for the Pro Audio business unit, drawing on a background with MI and pro audio products and dealers. All three U.S. business units—Pro Audio, Consumer and Conference—will be based in Farmingdale, NY
