Hollywood, CA (October 7, 2013)—Supervising sound editor Kelly Cabral, whose recent credits include The Purge, Dark Skies and Hawaii Five-O, has joined Soundelux.
“We are thrilled to have Kelly join our family of creative talent. She is a well-respected, highly versatile and talented sound supervisor,” said David F. Alfonso, the owner of Todd Soundelux, which is the parent company of Soundelux. “Kelly’s decision to join Soundelux represents an important validation of our company’s core mission to set the standard as the most talent-friendly provider of creative post production sound services, which offers content creators a one-stop destination that is unrivaled anywhere in the world.”
Cabral’s arrival also represents a return to her “roots” as a supervising sound editor, having previously worked with Soundelux before launching an independent career. Cabral’s credits also include such notable titles as Any Given Sunday, The Notebook, Alpha Dog and Ladder 49. She is currently working on The Other Woman for director Nick Cassavetes.
“Soundelux has, by far, the best library in town, the best support systems, and some of the best people working in post production sound,” said Cabral. “Beyond its leadership in all the key technical areas, at the heart of my decision to join Soundelux was its people and the company’s infrastructure. Soundelux has always felt like home and it feels comfortable to be back. Having worked elsewhere, I can safely state that the support you receive at Soundelux is unlike any place I have ever worked.”
Cabral is joined at Soundelux by members of her highly experienced creative team, including sound editors Aynee Osborn and Robert Batha.
