Rio de Janeiro, Brazil (June 16, 2014)—Clear-Com communications equipment is being used in all of the World Cup stadiums during the quadrennial football competition finals.
Clear-Com’s Tempest is being used for the Opening Ceremonies at the Arena Corinthians, Sao Paulo. In addition, TV Globo’s OB truck, HD1, is fitted with an extensive amount of Clear-Com product and will be transmitting the games from the Arena Corinthians.
All of the Clear-Com systems are interconnected via IVC-32 and VoICE units. TV Globo Rio’s complement of Clear-Com includes four Eclipse Omega systems interconnected by E-FIB, together with an Eclipse Median at the IBC, interconnected to TV Globo through an E-QUE E1 trunk line.
Each matrix system has IVC-32 to connect with V-series panels around Brazil, together with approximately 60 VoICE units for interconnecting additional sites.
