New York, NY (September 28, 2020)—Industry veteran David Croxton, sales director of KV2, has died due to a fatal accident. He was 59.
A mainstay of Australia’s pro-audio industry, Croxton held many roles over the years, including working as the importer and distributor of Mackie. He joined KV2 Audio in 2011, initially taking on a then newly created role as Asia Pacific region sales director role.

Intriguingly, according to KV2, Croxton was initially skeptical of the technologies and theories behind the brand’s loudspeaker offerings, but came to agree with the findings and ultimately became a fierce proponent of the company’s outlook and presentation.
Having worked in the audio industry throughout his career, Croxton’s knowledge of touring systems and studio production recording coupled with his experience of having run a successful distribution business in his Australian homeland, gave him insights that he freely shared with customers and peers alike.
Croxton is survived by his wife and three children.
