As if to underscore that, the company has debuted the DBM50 active desktop monitor featuring a 7.1” woofer and a 1.1” soft dome tweeter. Hand-built in Denmark, its levels can be regulated by an optional controller that puts the user squarely at the helm of volume control in any situation. The monitors are expected to be available in the U.S. this summer.

As part of its renaming process, Dynaudio Professional is also launching a new website under the name, presenting an updated look and feel. The site is expected to go live on March 21, 2012.
