Fairlight CEO Jean Claude Kathriner and CTO Tino Fibaek.Sydney, Australia (October 25, 2012)—Fairlight, which plans to unveil a number of new products this week at AES in San Francisco, has made a number of organizational changes going forward.
A recent takeover by KFT Investments Pty. Ltd. has led to new investments in R&D, production and customer support to develop technologies and services for Fairlight's audio post production clients. The company also plans to target new market opportunities with the launch of new tactile control surfaces for the CC-1 audio processing engine, including the new XStream Compact Desktop Controller and Quantum, a mid-size console.
Recently appointed CEO Jean Claude Kathriner, joining the company from Bosch, where he held a series of senior international sales and marketing positions, will be driving the business. The team that Kathriner heads includes Tino Fibaek, Fairlight’s Chief Technology Officer.
