New York, NY (January 30, 2013)—Bob Giammarco, founder of post production facility audioEngine, which has studios in New York and Phoenix, is now the sole owner of the company.
The company's remaining founding partners—Tom Goldblatt, Rex Recker and Brian Wick—will remain with the company, continuing in their current roles as senior mixers and chief engineer respectively.
"My primary mission has always been maintaining the high quality of our work and our facility as well as making sure aE is a great place for our clients and our staff," said Giammarco. "As we considered the future of the business and how best to advance those principles, we unanimously agreed that this was the best move for my partners and for audioEngine."
Founded in 2002 in New York's commercial post-production community, the company expanded into Phoenix in 2004. In 2008, the New York facility expanded to six mixing suites.
Today, audioEngine features mixers Brain Beatrice, Tom Goldblatt, Kelly Harnett, Eric Hoffman, Carl Mandelbaum and Rex Recker, and executive producer Meredith Nazzaro, in New York; as well as Jason Camiolo, Josh Bagenstoss and executive producer Jessica Poland in Phoenix.
