(l-r): Larry Swist and Mick Guzauski
Mt. Kisco, NY (October 4, 2012)—Guzauski-Swist Audio has expanded it U.S. operations to include sales representation in East Asia, with Paul Fang, president of MidiMall Inc. leading the sales initiative.
“It is a natural progression for me to be working with such wonderful Asian artists like LeeHorm Wang, Skot Suyama and Kimberly,” said Mick Guzauski, the noted mix engineer. “Much of the music you hear in that market is emulating Western pop. I have had some success with artists in the pop genre, so it makes sense that I mix those projects. I am really enjoying getting to know these talented artists and hopefully improving upon what they are already doing.”
In 2010, Guzauski joined with his long-time friend Larry Swist to launch the company with their flagship product: the GS-3a Studio Monitor system. After it was met with much success and rave reviews in the States, the two friends were eager to offer it to the East Asian market.
“I look forward to audio pros hearing the difference the GS-3a can make,” commented Guzauski.
Fang agreed, noting, “Based on Mick and Larry’s reputation, the potential market share could be exceptional. Plus, the product appeals to those in the audio field that have discriminating tastes and can hear the best.”
