(l-r) PMA executive director Hunter Williams, composer Brian Tyler, journalist Jon BurlingameHollywood, CA (September 11, 2015)—The Production Music Association announced the winners of its first annual Mark Awards for Excellence in Production Music on September 9, 2015.

Held concurrently with the PMA’s second annual Production Music Conference at the Directors Guild of America headquarters in Los Angeles, the awards are named in honor of the late Andy Mark, a music library owner and a founding member of the PMA. Film and TV composer Brian Tyler delivered the keynote talk, conducted by journalist Jon Burlingame, during the second annual PMC, which also presented 10 panels covering numerous topics pertinent to the production music industry.
The 2015 Hall of Fame Award went to composer Gerhard Narholz, founder of Sonoton Production Music. The Ambassador Award went to David Israelite, president & CEO, National Music Publishers Association.
The Mark Awards recognize the very best in production music in 17 categories. In the category Best Production Music Track the winners were:
