London, UK (December 12, 2014)—The Music Producers Guild will host its seventh MPG Awards event on February 12th, 2015, using the event to honor the pro audio professionals and manufacturers that mattered in 2014. The event will be held at the Park Plaza Riverbank in London.

“We continue to recognize the outstanding talent that plays such a vital role in the creation of great records,” said MPG Chairman Steve Levine. “The MPG Awards continues to grow in stature and this year’s winners represent the best of the industry, from the most exciting newcomers to those who have made the most significant impact in their field over their careers. 2014 saw the biggest turnout ever along with a very special live performance from Trevor Horn and friends including Seal. It was a night that everyone will remember for years to come. We’re looking forward to the awards in 2015 which will be just as full of surprises.”

The 2015 nominees for the MPG Awards 2015 were voted upon by Full Members of the Music Producers Guild, while the MPG Judging Panel met on Monday, December 8, at London’s RAK Studios to deliberate and vote for the final winners of the MPG Awards 2015. The panel consisted of producers, recording engineers, mastering engineers, artists, songwriters, broadcasters, music journalists, publishers, and record company executives, and included: Alan Moulder, Iain Archer, Simon Raymonde, Sumit Bothra, Hugh Padgham, Mike Crossey, Lawrence Bell ,Steve Matthews, Mick Glossop, Will Gregory, Andrew Hunt, Adam Sherwin, Paul Epworth, Dan Cox, Steve Levine, Sam Inglis, Tony Platt, John Dent, Paul Hitchman, Simon Price, Richard Lightman, Tim Young, Helienne Lindvall and Janice Long.
