Toronto, Canada (April 2, 2015)—Rights management company ole has acquired Jingle Punks in a transaction that creates one of the world’s largest production music libraries.
The deal folds ole’s PML repertoire into Jingle Punks and doubles Jingle Punks’ offering for clients. Jingle Punks also gains the ability to offer clients access to ole’s advanced proprietary, global rights management platform while Jingle Punks achieves economies of scale. The combination opens cross-platform business development and services opportunities for both companies. Projected NPS (net promoter score, a customer satisfaction measurement) by the end of 2015 for the combined entity exceeds 45M.
Jingle Punks will continue to operate as usual in Los Angeles and New York under the respective direction of Jared Gutstadt and Dan Demole, who founded Jingle Punks. The Jingle Punks operation in Nashville will be folded into ole’s Nashville operation.
Says Robert Ott, CEO and chairman of ole, which maintains investments of over $400 million in music intellectual property, “ole looks forward to working with Jingle Punks towards a future that combines our respective strengths to great advantage and for the benefit of our clients. Jared and Dan are great entrepreneurial talents who have built the most exciting brand in production music history, and we look forward to increased profitability together.”
