New York (January 3, 2012)—PreSonus will webcast live from its booth at The Winter NAMM Show in Anaheim, CA for three days later this month.
Kicking off on Thursday, January 19, PreSonus will allow viewers to virtually visit its NAAMM booth all day Thursday, Frday, and Saturday of the show with daily eight-hour webcasts. Viewers will be able to see all on-stage presentations about new products, and watch a sizable roster of artists perform. Additionally, the webcast will roam the aisles of the show to see what else is around.
Here’s a run down of just some of the artists expected to appear at PreSonus booth (and presumably the webcast; appearance schedule is subject to change):
Teddy Riley. The founder of New Jack Swing has produced a string of hit records for his R&B bands Guy and Blackstreet and for a long list of major artists, including Michael Jackson. Appears Friday, 2:15 p.m.
Derek Sherinian. Keyboard ace Sherinian has toured with Buddy Miles, Alice Cooper, Dream Theater, and Billy Idol, and has worked with such guitar legends as Steve Lukather, Slash, Yngwie Malmsteen, John Petrucci, Allan Holdsworth, and Zakk Wylde. Appears Friday and Saturday at 4:15 p.m.
Bobby Cochran. The former lead guitarist with Steppenwolf, Bobby and the Midnights, and the Bob Weir Band appears Friday, 3:15 p.m.
Stanley Jordan. This jazz and improvisational guitarist has won four Grammy nominations. Appears Saturday, 12:45 p.m.
Randy Emata. A popular keyboardist and producer, Emata has worked with Joe Satriani, Monet, Steve Miller, and many others. Appears Sunday, 1 p.m., and Saturday and Sunday, 5 p.m. (with Debby Holiday).
Steve Bailey. Bass wizard Bailey has gigged with Dizzy Gillespie, Jethro Tull, Rolling Stones, Victor Wooten, and many others. Appears in our special Bass Jam with Hadrien Feraud and David Haynes on Thursday and Friday, 12:45 p.m.
Roger Smith. The soulful Tower of Power keyboardist and producer appears Friday, 4:30 p.m.
Hadrien Feraud. Spectacular bassist Feraud has worked with John McLaughlin and won Haut Les Basses 2006. Appears in our special Bass Jam with Steve Bailey and David Haynes, Thursday and Friday, 12:45 p.m.
L’Angelus. This young Cajun quartet completely stole the show—and our hearts—at the recent PreSonuSphere conference. They were among Billboard Magazine’s 2006 Top Ten Independent Bands and have toured with Michael W. Smith.
Debby Holiday. This singer/songwriter has had 9 Top 20 Billboard Dance Hits and has worked with Monet, Rod Stewart, and many others.
Katelyn Benton. A former PreSonus employee, Benton left Baton Rouge to pursue her fast-rising singing and songwriting career.
Cajun All Stars. Back by popular demand, the trio will appear daily at 11:15 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., Friday at 3 p.m., and Sunday at 12:45 p.m. The Cajun All Stars are:
• David “Fingers” Haynes. Known as the “finger drummer,” with over 2 million views on YouTube, Haynes has toured with Stanley Jordan and plays drums with Arrested Development.
• Chris LeBlanc. Our favorite solo blues guitarist back home in Baton Rouge, LA, he has shared the stage with ZZ Top, Buddy Guy, and many others. Also appears solo daily at 10 a.m. and Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday at 3:15 p.m.
• Jerry Henderson. All Star bassist Henderson has played with such luminaries as Chaka Khan, John Cleary, and Gladys Knight.
