Dwayne ‘Supa Dups’ Chin-QueeAtlanta, GA (March 19, 2014)—Prism Sound kicks off its Mic to Monitor workshop tour today in SAE in Atlanta, GA, presenting a series of free seminars along with other UK manufacturers SADiE and PMC Speakers. The tour will hit Florida in the coming days, covering both Orlando and Miami, and one event will be webcast, allowing viewers around the world to learn from the seminars’ presenters, Edward J ‘UK’ Nixon, chief engineer for The J.U.S.T.I.C.E. League, and multi-Grammy award winning producer Dwayne ‘Supa Dups’ Chin-Quee.
Topics to be covered will include audio hardware design, how get the best out of a studio and more as the engineers take the audience through their mixes and reveal tips and tricks to achieve their sounds. Additionally, those who register and attend the talks in person will have a chance to win Prism Sound, SADiE and PMC products.
Edward J ‘UK’ Nixon presents today’s seminar as well as the March 21 event at Full Sail in Winter Park, FL, just outside Orlando, which will also be webcast. Nixon will provide insight into his career, and will also demonstrate his approach to the workflow, mixing style and processes which earned him his title as chief engineer of the Grammy Nominated production super-group, The J.U.S.T.I.C.E. League (Sir Paul McCartney, Nas, Mary J. Blige, Rick Ross & Drake).
Multi-Grammy award winning Producer/DJ Dwayne ‘Supa Dups’ Chin-Quee will present three seminars—two, held March 24 and 25 at the Winter Music Conference, Miami Convention Center, and a third on March 26 at the University of Miami. Chin-Quee will share his production experience and knowledge, which has resulted in more than 25 million record sales to date for his work with Eminem, Drake, Bruno Mars, John Legend, Mary J Blige, Snoop Dogg (aka Snoop Lion), Akon, Rihanna and many more.
