New York (November 11, 2011)—When the 131st Audio Engineering Society Convention was held at New York’s Jacob Javits Center recently, Renkus-Heinz was on-hand, holding court on two fronts throughout the show.
The company’s booth reportedly saw a steady flow of visitors eager to check out the IC2 and the newest iteration of Iconyx, the IC8-R MkII and IC16-R MkII, featuring triple tweeter design. Other products on display included the CF101LA modular point source array and the IC Live digitally steerable line array.
Downstairs in the demo room, Senior Vice President Ralph Heinz walked visitors through a marathon series of demos of the company’s IC2 (IC Squared), a digitally steerable line array that uses point source loudspeaker technology.
Renkus-Heinz Marketing Manager Margie Ulm remarked, “AES continues to be a very important show for us. It’s one of the few shows where engineers and manufacturers can truly meet one-on-one with our users. This year’s show was no exception, attendance was up [nearly 16,000 vistors], and those attending were very focused. It was a great show.”
