Ft. Wayne, IN (June 18, 2012)—Mark Hornsby has been named director of Music Production and Artist Relations of Sweetwater Productions, the recording studio division of Sweetwater.
Hornsby will be charged with expanding the services available through Sweetwater Productions, as well as spearheading efforts to market Sweetwater Productions’ Russ Berger-designed studios to recording artists across the country. In addition, Hornsby will help expand Sweetwater’s educational offerings with master classes on recording, mixing, and mastering, Pro Tools training, and more. He will also pursue new opportunities for Sweetwater’s Performance Theatre and other areas within the company.

A producer, recording engineer, musician, writer, consultant, and technology expert, Mark Hornsby has worked in numerous parts of the industry, including software design with IK Multimedia, product specialist and marketing consulting with Trans Audio Group, and more. A partner in studios in Florida and Nashville, as a producer/engineer, his credits include Travis Tritt, King Crimson, Steven Curtis Chapman, New Found Glory, Rush’s Neil Peart, Kevin Gilbert, Old Crow Medicine Show, The London Philharmonic, and many more.
