Hager, who has also worked with Goo Goo Dolls and Jonas Brothers, says, “Using the DiGiGrid IOS’s low-latency monitoring with plugins is a great benefit to my workflow when tracking vocals for Miley Cyrus.” DiGiGrid IOS is an audio interface with a built-in SoundGrid DSP server for plugin processing.

“Having the ability to use StudioRack as Native or SoundGrid with DiGiGrid IOS is more than useful,” he continues. “DiGiGrid IOS’s preamps and I/Os sound amazing. “Since I do both studio and live work, having SoundGrid capabilities allows me to easily transfer settings and presets between those two environments. SoundGrid offers me the stability and capacity to open up way more plugins than previously possible.”

He adds, “Waves StudioRack allows me to open chains of plugins as presets, which is a real time-saver in that it quickly puts me in a great starting point.”
