Burbank, CA (April 17, 2017)—AlterMedia, developer of Studio Suite studio management software, has announced Studio Suite 12, to be showing at the upcoming 2017 NAB Show at booth SL7404. According to AlterMedia, this version is a “ground up rebuild” featuring a new database structure and interface, the latter modeled on Google’s ‘Material Design’ philosophy.
Essentially, Suite 12 is a business application that provides budgeting, scheduling, project management, job costing, rental workflows, media asset management, CRM, invoicing, reporting, employee management, equipment inventory management and maintenance, among other services. Studio Suite is designed to work well for any sort of content creation business.
Other new features of Studio Suite 12 include key modifications to its two methods of web access: WebDirect and WebGlancer. WebDirect can now function as the primary method of access for power users, including the ability to print and email documents from the browser (removing the requirement for FileMaker Pro on the client machine). Studio Suite 12’s WebGlancer now offers lower level staffers the ability to log in via any device (desktop, tablet, mobile) for logging work-time, marking tasks as complete, viewing calendars, etc.
Studio Suite 12 (and a downloadable demo) will be available by the end of Q2.
