AmpliVox Bows Mobile Array Hailer System

AmpliVox Sound Systems has introduced the AmpliVox SW664 mobile line array hailer system, a portable wireless system intended for outdoor venues.

Northbrook, IL (February 26, 2015)—AmpliVox Sound Systems has introduced the AmpliVox SW664 mobile line array hailer system, a portable wireless system intended for outdoor venues.

In the new system, four tapered speaker horns are mounted to a vertical column, and connected to a compact, battery-powered, 50-watt multimedia stereo amplifier. The amplifier includes a 16-channel UHF receiver, a handheld wireless mic, multiple input and output jacks, and a siren feature for emergency use. The horns are mounted horizontally for broader sound dispersion, and can be rotated around the column to project sound in different directions. The unit reportedly operates for up to 200 hours on 10 D-cell batteries or on the optional NiCad rechargeable battery pack, and stores fully assembled in an optional carry/storage case.

“Our new Mobile Line Array Hailer System provides the power and clarity that large open-air venues require,” notes Don Roth, CEO of AmpliVox. “It is a perfect solution for schools, park districts, festivals, and all kinds of large outdoor settings. The versatility, durability, and convenience of this system is unparalleled, and we’re confident that our customers will find it indispensable.”
