Santa Monica, CA (July 6, 2017)—Exhibiting at the upcoming Summer NAMM Show in Nashville, TN (July 13-15, within downtown’s Music City Center), Antelope Audio has announced North American availability of its Orion Studio HD HDX audio interface, the third Antelope product to offer full Pro Tools|HD and Native DAW compatibilities.
Like Antelope’s Orion32 HD and Goliath HD, Orion Studio HD’s analog or digital inputs can arrive in Pro Tools|HD sample accurate in the timeline, due to Antelope Audio’s proprietary HDX Delay Compensation. With the 24-bit/192 kHz Orion Studio HD providing USB 3.0 connectivity, it reportedly offers zero-latency streaming and processing alongside a library of real-time onboard effects, high-end clocking and conversion, and more.
Other features of the Orion Studio HD HDX include more than 40 free models of equalizers, compressors and guitar amp/cabinet pairs from manufacturers including BAE, Grove Hill, Gyraf Audio, and Lang; 12 Class A preamps with phantom power; two pair of mastering-grade monitor outputs; 16 analog line outputs (via dual 25-pin D-Sub connectors); two “re-amp” outputs; two headphone outputs; eight channels of digital I/O via ADAT plus dual digital I/O channels via S/PDIF; and WC (Wordclock) I/O on BNC connectors.
Notably, Orion Studio HD does not incorporate any cooling fans, thus provides silent operation for in-studio use.
