Los Angeles, CA (October 14, 2014)—Apogee’s new Ensemble 30x34 is a low-latency Thunderbolt 2 audio interface (1.1ms round trip @ 96 kHz/32 buffer) featuring eight Advanced Stepped Gain mic preamps with 75 dB of gain.

It also sports a full 32-bit signal path from DAW output direct to the DAC and Direct Memory Access (DMA) engine to “more efficiently” read and write data directly to Mac memory independent of the Mac CPU.

Monitor controller functionality including talkback; two front-panel instrument I/O channels; two PurePower headphone outputs and digital connectivity for a total of 30 inputs and 34 outputs. Ten individually assignable analog inputs and 16 analog outputs are included.
