Niagara Falls, NY (December 14, 2011)—Applied Research and Technology has announced The USB Mix, a three-channel microphone, instrument, and line mixer/computer interface, as part of its ART USB Mix Project Series.
Aimed for use in personal home studio recording or mobile location recording, the USB Mix is a compact, computer audio interface converts analog signals from a variety of audio sources to a USB digital signal. It can also be used as a standalone mixer through it’s main mix outputs.
The USB Mix is fully USB 2.0 compliant and has a balanced XLR input or unbalanced 1/4:” instrument input with switchable impedance. Switchable low noise 48V phantom power also included.
It features balanced 1/4” TRS inputs for stereo or mono line-level sources with 1/4” TRS output jacks that work with either balanced or unbalanced lines. Independent controls are used for both sets of inputs, main output as well as headphone monitoring. Also featured is switchable assignment of USB playback and monitoring.
US retail pricing for the ART USB Mix Project Series is $79 and begins shipping January 2012.
