Scottsdale, AZ (July 24, 2017)—ARX has debuted its new Network DI Digital-to-Analog breakout box utilizing the Dante network protocol.

The box uses Dante to extract audio from a network and convert it to transformer-isolated, low-latency, analog audio. Providing sample rates of 96 KHz, 48 KHz (default) and 44.1 KHz, the unit is network powered, requiring no external power source. Along with full LED status indicators, it also offers a Mono switch for Channel A and B summation, and balanced XLR outputs.

The unit is suitable for connecting to amplifiers or powered speakers, mixing consoles and other analog audio devices using standard Ethernet hardware and cabling.

“Dante has become the long-awaited standard for digital audio distribution in production and install professional audio,” opined ARX managing director, Colin Park. “The Network DI is the first product in for our Dante-enabled range, which we’ll be expanding through into 2018.”
