At InfoComm: DPA Unveils 4097 Choir Mic

The Supercardioid mic is intended for HOWs and other choir applications.

Orlando, FL (June 13, 2019)—DPA Microphones revealed an upcoming addition to its offerings at InfoComm: the 4097 CORE Supercardioid Choir Microphone.

The mic reportedly offers the same sonic qualities as the brand’s d:vote CORE 4099 Instrument Microphone but was designed specifically to capture choir sound, with both wireless or wired configurations.

The new 4097 Choir Mic also features an off-axis supercardioid pattern and is said to have a very high-gain-before-feedback. Configured with a MicroDot connector and a DPA adapter for wired or wireless, the 4097 allows the user to go wireless.

The microphone features the CORE by DPA amplifier technology, and additionally comes with three shock mounts.
