Orlando, FL (June 14, 2017)—At InfoComm in Orlando, FL today, Dynacord is introducing its new L Series and C Series dual-channel power amplifier lines.
Both amplifier series comprise a linear amp design and integrate with configuration, control and supervision software tools from Dynacord. Four different models per series are available, with total output power ranging from 1300 W to 3600 W.
Dynacord L Series power amplifiers are intended for use by live sound providers in music clubs, community hall events, performance centers and sports venues. Meanwhile, C Series power amplifiers are designed for permanent installation applications, to provide background or live music in venue including bars, churches, restaurants, sports facilities, and performing arts centers.
Given its installation focus, the C Series is also aimed for direct drive applications with 70V / 100V speaker lines. Both series of amplifiers feature Euroblock connectors for wiring, remote power-on delay, and GPIOs (General-purpose input/output) to interface with third-party controls, and sport a standby power mode said to reduce running costs and power consumption by up to 90 percent.
Onboard DSP for both series includes multi-band PEQs (parametric equalizer), crossovers, limiters, and delay per channel. It also has true channel grouping control with extra DSP capabilities like PEQ, GEQ (graphic equalizer), and delay for each group.
Both series consist of four dual-channel models, each with different output power specifications: The C3600FDi and L3600FD each offer a reported 1800 W @ 4 Ω, 3200 W @ 2 Ω maximum output power per channel; for the C2800FDi and L2800FD each, the max output power is 1400 W @ 4 Ω, 2300 W @ 2 Ω per channel; with the C1800FDi and L1800FD, it is 900 W @ 4 Ω, 1600 W @ 2 Ω; and with the C1300FDi and L1300FD amplifiers, maximum output power per channel is said to be 650 W @ 4 Ω, 1100 W @ 2 Ω.
