Las Vegas, NV (June 10, 2016)—EM Acoustics’ new M-C12 and M-C15 coaxial stage monitors are making their international debut at InfoComm.
Consisting of 12-inch/1.3-inch and 15-inch/1.3-inch coaxial drive units respectively, the monitors incorporate EM Acoustics passive crossovers and require only one amplifier channel and zero external processing.
The M-C12 and M-C15 both feature recessed 35mm pole mount sockets and M8 threaded rigging points, which allow them to be deployed as front-of-house loudspeakers in corporate applications. The units are shipping and are finding acceptance among rental companies worldwide including Masque Sound and Pyramid Audio Productions who deployed several units during the recent New Orleans Jazzfest.
Also on display for the first time in the US is the new DQ20 advanced system amplifier. It is a lightweight four-channel Class D switchmode power amplifier and is the largest of three models in the DQ Series. Capable of up to 20,000 watts total output power, DQ20 is equipped with analog, AES3 and Dante digital network audio inputs. DQ20 comes with a complete software suite that provides remote control and monitoring of a complex loudspeaker system.
