Anaheim, CA (January 25, 2016)—At the NAMM Show in Anaheim, beyerdynamic debuted its new DT 1770 PRO headphones to the North American market; the headphones are aimed at musicians, sound engineers, and producers.
Its Tesla 2.0 drivers are central to the closed 250 ohm headphones. The drivers, which are being used in studio headphones for the first time, are characterized by a high magnetic flux density with the intention of creating enhanced performance and accuracy. Other features include a triple-layer compound membrane, included in an effort to reduce unwanted partial vibrations.
The headphones include interchangeable ear cushions, covered with soft velour or high-quality artificial leather. The spring-steel headband is adjustable, and equipped with exchangeable padding. The DT 1770 PRO dynamic premium headphones included single-sided coiled and straight cables that can attach securely to a lockable Mini XLR connector. A hard case protects the headphones and accessories during storage and transportation.
